Ingredients
For Veggie burger
- 2 boiled and mashed banana
- 1/2 cup boiled and mashed green peas
- 2 tbsp oats
- 2 tbsp soya granules ( wash and soaked in warm water for 20 minutes then squeeze)
- 2 tbsp crumble paneer
- 2 tsp green chilli paste
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp dry ginger powder
- 1 tsp aamchur powder
- 1 tsp sugar optional
- salt to taste
For Mayonnaise dressing
- 150 gm shredded cabbage purple & green
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise as per your taste
For Pav:
- 250 gm maida
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 & 1/2 tbsp milk powder
- 1 & 1/2 tbsp sugar powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 cup curd
- 2 tsp eno fruit salt

Instructions
Veggie burger
- Take all ingredients in one plate, mix well, roll it into a patty of similar size to the bun or whatever you prefer.
- Heat some oil in pan, place the patty in it, cook for 5-6 minutes on medium flame on one side, then flip to the other side, cook for 5-6 minutes, switch off flame. Keep it aside
Mayonnaise dressing
- Mix the ingredients well and keep it in the refrigerator
Pav
- Mix the maida, salt, milk powder, sugar powder and baking powder in a large bowl and sift it twice.
- Take the sifted flour, make some space in the middle of the flour, like making and add oil, curd and eno soda. Mix it all well to form a soft dough.
- Pull out balls from the dough, and shape them into burger buns, grease them and keep them in a greased tray.
- Brush all the Pav with milk, and keep aside for 1 and 1/2hour,
- Then bake it in preheated oven on 180˚ c for 25 to 30 minutes.
Assembling the burger
- Slice the burger buns in equal parts.
- Spread some butter or margarine on the slice.
- Heat a small pan and toast the buns
- The butter side should become lightly crisp and golden.
- Now spread the mayonnaise dressing on the crisp side, place the lettuce or
- iceberg on it, after that place the veggie patty, then put couple of tomato slices on it. Now sprinkle some chaat masala and finally top it off with a cheese slice on it. On the other bun, spread some green chutney, 2-3 drops of tomato ketchup and tabasco sauce. Press them together.
- The veggie burger is ready!
