Ingredients
- 3 cup rice cooked
- 1 capsicum finely chopped
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 1/2 cup green peas boiled
- 2 tsp green chilli paste
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 4 tsp pav bhaji masala
- 2 tsp tawa masala
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 3 tbsp ghee or butter
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 cup water
- coriander to garnish

Instructions
- Heat ghee or butter in a big kadai and add cumin seeds. When they start to crackle, add asafoetida, and then add green chilli paste and capsicum. Sauté for few minutes.
- Add tomato and 1/4 cup water, so tomato will cook fast, mix well.
- Add boiled peas and cook for 1 minute. Add all the masalas and rice.
- Mix everything very gently without breaking the rice grains, cook for 2 minutes, so the rice gets heated thoroughly.
- Finally add the lemon juice and mix it. It's ready to be served.
- It can be garnished with coriander. Serve with preheated curd or raita or papad.
Recipe Notes
Handy tips for preheated curd:
1. Set curd in a container that can be kept in a pressure cooker.
2. Take set curd and heat it in the pressure cooker, for one whistle.
3. On cooling, it can be used with any combination of foods.
4. Always use pre- heated curd with any pulses.
